Thanks a million (well, 35,000 actually)…

11 Jan

Just a quick thank you, to all who have supported the blog for the last two and a half years or so; all 254 posts, (make that 255) 1822 comments, 388 followers and, as of today, 35,000 hits of it.
I’m still having great fun doing it and despite a recent dip in output, I hope to now continue with more regularity for the foreseeable future.

It’s good to be back at the keyboard.

Here’s the blog by numbers:

Spread the word.

Thanks again,

Wow 😀 how did you do so?

Do what, get the traffic? That’s a pretty modest total by some standards, but I’m quite happy with it. “Inordinately proud” would be a better term in fact.
      Thank you for your visit.

Yes, how do you get the traffic?

I post links to the blog on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, Pinterest etc. StumbleUpon is where I get the most traffic from though.
It has taken a long time to build up a base of readers and the actual post traffic varies wildly, depending on…..I’m not sure what.

Always make sure you heavily tag all your posts, that’s the key.

If you want a longer chat about any aspect of the blog, (not that I claim any great expertise, but I’ve been doing this a while now and at least I can give you advice on what NOT to do) feel free to contact me at

Thanks Lil, it wouldn’t be half as fun without regular followers like yourself.
