Photo Sans Frontiers Showcase: Madilyn Leonard Benrubi / Yun Yi…

06 May

For this, the third post showcasing photography uploaded to my Photo Sans Frontiers Fb page, I’ve chosen to compile pictures by two contributors, both of whom I initially met on a blog sharing site and have subsequently become friends with on Facebook.

Madilyn Leonard Benrubi, born in New Jersey and author of the blog Jersey Lil’s 2 Cents, now lives in Maryland and regularly posts beautifully captured pictures that show the changing seasons and passing wildlife that visits her garden in Rockville.
I love photographing birds myself, so I’ve picked several of Madilyn’s avian subjects, along with a couple of great shots of the moon for her first guest appearance, I hope you enjoy the pictures I’ve chosen.

Cardinals, American robins, cedar waxwings and starlings are clearly regular visitors to the trees and shrubs…

…along with hungry sparrows, squirrels and even the occasional inquisitive deer…

…and the view is just as good at night.

Yun Yi, originally from Chongqing in China but now living in Durham, North Carolina, writes the blog Human Without God and her gorgeous naturalistic photos of the woodland landscapes and lakeside vistas around her home always make me want to explore the hidden pathways through the trees, leading who knows where…

My thanks as always to Madilyn and Yun for their wonderful pictures.

Stay tuned for more from Photo Sans Frontiers soon.

Wow! I am thrilled! Thanks for posting my photos. Yes, woods in North Carolina are both gorgeous and mysterious, extremely inviting. And I love Madilyn’s birds pictures too, always wondering how she captures all these vivid wildlife.
Thanks for this EXCLUSIVE post! 🙂 Love it!

Thank you, Dale, I am truly honored and delighted that you’ve shared my photos! I’m also pleased that you enjoy my avian photos because you take some stunning avian photos yourself. 🙂 And I am honored to be sharing this post with Yun who takes such gorgeous landscape photos of North Carolina! In this group, I especially love her photo with the green leaves in the foreground overlooking the blue water, just beautiful. I love taking photos and the birds and animals around my yard are some of my favorite subjects.

Also, thank you for creating the Photo Sans Frontiers group on Facebook as a showcase for different types of photography; I am truly enjoying all the photos shared to the group.
