Picture this: Moor to sea…

31 Mar

Yes, Spring is here and the weather is beginning to improve, which means there are suddenly a wealth of photographic possibilities out there, just waiting to be captured.

Last weekend, Audrey and I made a quick stop at Woody Bay Steam Railway, in Exmoor National Park, so I took the opportunity to snap a few pictures before we made our way back home and went for a walk (or scoot) along the river Taw estuary, where I snapped a few more.

Devon; there is always more to see.

She’s a happy girl alright, I think she’s very content in her adopted country.

It is gorgeous, especially on Exmoor, there are so many places to walk and to visit and the views are amazing everywhere.

I see that *envious look on her face* but I am glad you have such a nice place to live in. I can’t complain either I gave to admit: Norfolk and the North Sea are a lovely place to be

I have family in Norfolk. Cromer and Swaffham. It is nice. Flat, though. I do like the hills and contours of the moors.

I work in Cromer. The world is pretty small isn’t it? I disagree with the flat though. The broads are but the rest of it isn’t really in my opinion.

There is nothing like steam hissing to evoke a bygone age.
