K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

16 May

img_20160318_210825-picsay.jpgIt’s Monday, which must mean that it’s time for cosmic photography.

This week, it was K’lee’s turn to pick the theme and he came up with this;

This could be any type of fast car your imagination brings to the surface of your consciousness – you decide, you create…for the ‘K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge’ “

Well, I drive a Nissan Micra, (not the sportiest of cars, although I love it) so I was never going to do a convincing job of crowbarring that into this post, but I thought of a way of suggesting how fast some cars were going, even if I was restricted to picking them at random as they drove past.

So here is my offering for today; I attempted (with varying degrees of success) to capture the traffic as it sped past the layby I was sitting in on the way home from working overtime on Saturday morning, then I layered the shots over each other to give this time-lapse effect…

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.
Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.

Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

Here is K’lee’s photo, pop over and give him some love.

      Thanks dude. Not been a great start so far, got a doctor’s appt for a nasty abdominal pain that’s been bothering me all weekend. Hopefully it’ll be sorted soon.

        Not cool. I always turn to ginger root for abdominal aches and pains. It’s my ‘go to’.

        Yeah, I’ve tried all of the standard remedies, home and medicinal, but this is a weird one, nothing seems to make a difference. I’m only going to the doctor because it’s hung around for so long and I don’t want my appendix exploding or something.

        No, that sounds about right. If you’ve already tried everything else, get checked out for sure.
        Exploding appendix??? Let’s seriously hope NOT!!!

        It’s a nasty cramping sensation, a bit like trapped gas, but my digestion and appetite are fine. I’ve had really horrible stabbing pains in my lower abdomen since Saturday morning and I can’t think of what it could be, but it’s pissing me right off now and I’ve had enough of it.

        Just getting your reply! Sorry to hear you’re dealing with something like this, Guy. Hope it’s better by the time you read this. Pain is never cool.

        Thanks, but apparently I’m a medical mystery. Still in pain today and I’m waiting to get blood work back.

        Hope things turn out all right, Guy.

    That’s a cool picture. Mine is actually the exact opposite and a little clumsy but just because I scheduled the post and my intuition didn’t give me the right choice LOL

        I’m glad, it came out of a casual chat I had with K’lee, so I’m pleased that it’s starting to take off. ;~}

        That’s how my “Love Is In Da Blog” started :-). I believe those are the best ideas even though they often need some tending to 🙂

        You’re right. I only started participating in Linda’s Stream of consciousness Saturday (or Sunday) feature on a whim and now it’s one of my favourite things on the blog to write. Speaking of which, I must get round to found your interview soon.

    Reblogged this on Photo Sans Frontiers and commented:

    I completely forgot to reblog last week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, so here it is.
    (This week’s prompt is “close up”; pop over to Diary of an Internet Nobody and see how to get involved.)
