One liner Wednesday: Alternative dictionary…

30 Nov

Some alternative definitions occur to me whilst watching the news…

“Disorient” –  Something Donald Trump will inevitably do to offend the Chinese.

If he hasn’t, I’m sure it won’t be long.

Made me laugh…not a happy laugh, but maybe a needed one. And I’ve read today that China is already starting to rethink its initial enthusiasm.

As for me, I’v never had any enthusiasm for that individual.

Congratulations, you pass the sanity test.

I grew up in New York State. I’ve been hearing about him for most of my life. Even if I was inclined to agree with his professed politics, I know too much to believe he can be anything like good for this country – and maybe the world.

There was such a better option, and, after 8 years of a President who was thoughtful, compassionate, and a man of integrity, this – well, it’s a kind of mourning, plain and simple, and a healthy dose of wariness for my family, but more for those whose safety and freedom is in jeopardy because they don’t happen to be among the favored few…

He probably thinks disorientation is his “secret” weapon. But he uses it on everybody including himself.
