The brilliant Douglas Adams used the names of places to give new words to everyday meanings in The Meaning of Liff and this alternate definition follows that tradition;

“Baltimore” – Extra curry.

      Oh yes, curry is a staple here. Balti restaurants are very common.

      I’m guessing you wouldn’t recognise many of the anglicized versions of your dishes, but Indian cooking is hugely popular here.
