One liner Wednesday: Alternative dictionary…

05 Jul

I’ve given up trying to judge whether these alternative definitions are going to be successful in the real world, or only in my head, so I’ll just leave this here and see what happens;

“Platitude” – The demeanor of a waiter.

    Good morning!
    Come what may, we must not lose hope and keep trying,telling yourself you are greater than what you suffer and you deserve better than that!

    Dale, I think you need an alternative dictionary definition of “spamalot” for Mr. Transit.

    Sometimes, these make me think, but they are always fun! I got this one right away, and I might use the word when I get one of “those” waiters – the ones who seem to think no one is good enough to dine in their restaurant.

    As a former waiter in college, I laughed out loud at this one. Nice job. I also thought of John Cleese in Monti Python’s The Meaning of Life. “Oh come on. One little thin mint.”

      I do seem to be getting quite a collection, it’s worth thinking about, certainly.
