I know a lot of these alternative definitions require a certain amount of flexible thinking on your part, especially with some of the spellings, so you’ll have to forgive me for;

“Alkaline” – The queue at an off licence*.

    I had to look-up “off licence” to be sure I was getting it right from context, but I like this one 🙂

        Never even think about it until I get up Wednesday morning and usually post them by about 7a.m.
        So, not long, but some are more of a last minute flash of inspiration than others.
