Cosmic Photo prompt…

Well, you didn’t expect me to be on time two weeks running, did you?

Now that I’m here, here’s your prompt for Monday’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge. It’s K’lee’s turn to set the theme and he’s gone with the mirror image of last week’s challenge, with; Exteriors.

I don’t think that requires too much in the way of explanation, so go outside and capture some, well, some outsides.

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Hello and welcome one and all, to this Monday’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, with today’s theme set by me; Interiors.

Time got away from me a bit at the weekend, so I’ve had to plunder the archives to bring you this week’s photos, but I managed to find quite a varied selection for you; from inside a festival tent, via an ancient burial mound, to the majestic interior of Winchester Great Hall.

Inside the burial mound or “fougou”:

So there you have it, now go and check out K’lee’s post, HERE.

Then let’s see what you brought to the party.

Cosmic Photo prompt…

A prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge? On a Friday? Before lunch? Will wonders never cease?

I know, it’s amazing, but let’s not get too excited, I doubt I’ll make a habit of it.

It’s my choice today and I have decided on something a little more straightforward than last week’s high-concept theme, I’m going for; Interiors.

That’s it, as simple as that.

I suppose you could give it a more complex interpretation if you wish; there’s nothing to stop you photographing your internal organs, (maybe you’re a radiologist, I don’t know) or doing a photo shoot with a minister of the interior, but I’m guessing that’s less likely than some artistic pictures of your favourite room in the house, or the inside of some other especially impressive architecture, but I’ll leave that decision entirely up to you.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Monday is here again and that means only one thing on Diary of an Internet Nobody, it’s time for another edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee picked the theme on Friday and it was a good one; Alien Artifacts.

Now, this one stumped me, I don’t mind telling you. I mean, not many of us have bits of junk from extraterrestrial civilisations lying around the place, just in case we need to use them for a photo prompt.

So I was pleased when I was struck by inspiration while working in the garden yesterday, (well, while Rhonda was working in the garden and I was writing my SoCS post in the sunshine) as I looked at the decorative gravel I bought to form a miniature “faux-pond” in a circle of rocks.

It did look like it might be from the surface of an distant planet, so if I could just find something which would look suitably alien to bury in it, hmmmm….

Five minutes poking around in Audrey’s toy box later, plus a bit of digital fiddling and hey presto, three versions of the last resting place of an unknown and unfortunate alien cyborg from a galaxy far, far away.

See K’lee’s masterpiece HERE.

Now let’s see what your imagination conjured up for us.

Cosmic Photo prompt…

No, you’re not hallucinating, I’m actually here with your Friday prompt for Monday’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge on Friday!

I know, it’s amazing, maybe I’m being affected by cosmic rays or something. Which, as it happens, would fit in very nicely with K’lee’s theme for the week; Alien Artefacts.

It’s certainly one to get your imagination working overtime, so get your thinking caps (and possibly your tinfoil helmets) on and come up with something suitably spacey to start the week.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

On Friday, somewhat rashly perhaps, I set the rather optimistic theme of Midsummer madness, due to summer solstice being last week.

I didn’t have anything in particular in mind and as I predicted, I ended up photographing some of the recent additions to our new garden, a couple of which got an artistic makeover.

K’lee’s excellent selection is HERE.

Now it’s time for your contributions…

Cosmic Photo prompt…

Welcome to another edition of the perma-late prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week chosen by me.

Being the contrary sod that I am, I’ve picked the first wet weekend for a while to go with; Midsummer madness, since it was summer solstice on Wednesday.

Anything summery is fair game, even if that definition is somewhat stretched by the English weather, but feel free to include a touch of madness if you so wish.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Time once again to delve into K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week with a theme chosen by K’lee; Faster than the Speed of Light.

The idea that came to me when I saw the prompt was based on the closing sequence from 2001: A Space Odyssey and this is the image it inspired.

Check out K’lee’s post HERE.

Now let’s see what you brought to the photo party.

Cosmic Photo prompt…

Ok, being on time two weeks running was a bit much to expect, I suppose.

K’lee has the responsibility for choosing this week’s theme for Monday’s K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge post, so without further ado, let’s see what he’s left us;

Faster than the Speed of Light, to be interpreted in any way you deem creatively feasible for the grand unveiling we do each Monday.”

Right then, now you know, so get snapping and inspire us with your brilliance at the start of next week.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Happy Monday, one and all, and welcome to this week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, today inspired by my prompt from Friday, which was; Through, between, behind, beyond.

It was not something I’d thought about, so it was a last minute decision to use our new garden as a subject for the challenge.

We only really started work on our latest horticultural project last weekend, but now it’s coming along rather nicely, even if I do say so myself, (despite Rhonda doing most of the actual gardening) although possibly not advanced enough to warrant a full post to itself.

So what I’ve tried to do, in keeping with today’s theme, is to give you a few glimpses of the garden, from behind some plants, through the shed doorway, between the leaves, to catch hints of what lies beyond.

The link to K’lee’s post is HERE.

Now it’s time to show us what you captured this week.
