K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

It’s time to get summery with K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, today prompted by K’lee and his simple suggestion that we use Three, or The three faces of summer for our inspiration.

Well, Audrey and I went down to the park on Saturday morning and, since she likes being featured on the blog, I thought I’d edit together three shots of her enjoying the sunshine, whilst she was scooting and swinging.

You can find K’lee’s photos here.

I hope you all had a similarly summery weekend, now let’s see what photographic evidence you have for us…

*****

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.
Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

One liner Wednesday: Sh*t my daughter says…

Rhonda was making a shopping list the other day and Audrey added a couple of items;

One liner Wednesday: Sh*t my daughter says…

1linerwedsbadgewes.jpgAudrey talks in her sleep all the time, occasionally having what sound like entire conversations; we often hear her chattering away for five or ten minutes at a time, leaving pauses for what we assume to be answers from her imaginary nocturnal companions.

But it seems as if we may have been mistaken, at least as far as Audrey’s awareness of events is concerned, anyway.

She had been mumbling away quite happily to herself, prior to waking up the other morning, when Rhonda went in to get her up for school and have a quick snuggle. Thinking that she was addressing her, Rhonda responded to one of Audrey’s questions, waking her up in the process. She looked at Rhonda without any obvious surprise and said;

“Oh, I knew I was awake, when I talk in my sleep, nobody answers.”

An occasional series, recalling the wisdom of Audrey; purveyor of non sequiturs, profundity and randomness.

When they were still living in America and I could only communicate with them via video messaging, Audrey overheard Rhonda referring to me as her “boyfriend” and promptly clapped a hand over her mouth.
When Rhonda asked her what the matter was, Audrey said;

“A diary entry nearly escaped from my mouth by accident!”
