Cosmic Photo prompt…

Welcome to what I hope will be the final prompt for K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge in its current location, because I’m almost ready to make the move from Diary of an Internet Nobody and begin the next leg on my blogging journey.

Yes, next week’s prompt will hopefully be coming to you in its regular slot, but from over at Return of the Internet Nobody, which will by then be at the diaryofaninternetnobody domain that this one currently occupies.

I hope I’ve explained that clearly enough, because the lovely Happiness Engineers at WordPress assure me the changeover will be smooth and simple, you’ll just have to re-follow me on that site, I think.

Anyway, on to the business at hand, today’s prompt. I’ve decided to go for something fitting, given that I have a few days off work during an ordinary English summer; Rainy days.

However you choose to interpret that is up to you. It could be a straightforward shot of the rain, or something you do when it’s too horrible to go outside, it’s entirely up to you.

But whatever you pick, show it to us in Monday’s post and give us a wet start to the week.

*****

To get involved with the challenge, post a photo to your blog on Monday, add a pingback to this post (or to K’lee’s) and don’t forget to tag your post #CosPhoChal.

Alternatively, add a link to your blog in the comments of either mine or K’lee’s post and we’ll come and check out your entry.

Any and all effects, editing, Photoshop, Instagram, morphing, collages or whatever other post production techniques you fancy are permitted, (in fact, they’re actively encouraged!) so get creative and turn your photos into artworks for the Cosmic Photo Challenge.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Another Monday dawns and another edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge arrives, to help you start your week with a warm domestic glow.

K’lee set us the theme of Home is where the heart is on Friday and, since we spend more time in the living/dining room of our small flat than anywhere else, I’d consider that the heart of our home. It’s also the place that reflects the various things that make us all happy.

You’ll see books by favourite authors, pieces of Audrey’s artwork, family photo albums, my personal copy of The Wrong Stuff, Audrey Hepburn memorabilia, my Golden Face Palm Award, CDs, DVDs, a giant “R” for Rhonda and a solar powered Thanksgiving turkey, obviously.

There’s Audrey, sporting the very first of the gorgeous Woolhouse Boys t-shirts, which I had printed for (and posted to) fellow geeks around the world this week, and there she is relaxing, playing Minecraft yesterday afternoon.

And it wouldn’t be the Cosmic Photo Challenge without a bit of digital fiddling, so I’m ending with a pair of googly eyes made from our living room ceiling lights.

You can get an insight into K’lee’s crib, HERE

Why not welcome us into your place first, though…

Cosmic Photo prompt…

Yes, I’m late again for the prompt, but K’lee did post a little late yesterday and I’ve been to pick an American visitor up from the airport this morning.

But now I’m here, let’s see what K’lee has left us, to inspire next week’s edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I will let him explain in his own words:

Home is where the heart is. My thinking is, we all have a place in our homes where our heart truly resides. It could be the kitchen, it could be the that cool Victorian claw-foot tub in the bathroom (not mine, YOURS!). Could be the porch or deck outside where you relax in the morning or evening… The thing is, it can be anywhere YOU say it is, and with this week’s prompt, we want you to consider where yours is and possibly join us on Monday to add your creative voice to our mix!”

So there you have it, share some domestic bliss with us on Monday and start the week with a smile.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Hello and welcome to Monday and a new edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, this week curated by yours truly.

I chose the prompt on Friday; Birds and Bees, which loosely incorporated the theme of anything with the ability to fly.

I have an awful lot of bird and insect photos in my archives and I was sorting through posts at the weekend, (to pick a selection to transfer over to Photo Sans Frontiers, freeing up valuable space during my upcoming blog transition) so I thought I’d start by sharing some of my favourites…

…followed by these new shots, which I captured in the garden at the weekend.

K’lee’s post is winging its way to you via THIS LINK

Now, let’s have a look at your birds, bugs and beasties…

Cosmic Photo prompt…

On time once again for the Friday prompt, to give you some guidance for the next edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge, which is using my choice of theme this week; Birds and bees.

Anything with wings will do, bugs and bats are just as acceptable, so let your imagination soar and seek out some avian and insectile inspiration for Monday’s post.

K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge…

Welcome to a slightly late edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge; due to me having technical issues with a beta version of the post editor I’m trialling for WordPress.

I still had time to muck about with a few photos while I was trying to sort out the upload problem, so let’s take a look at my trio of offerings on the theme of; The Power in Threes, chosen by K’lee on Friday.

I decided to go with using everyday objects to make something artistic, this time arranging three of our retro-designed dinner plates in various patterns to make a triptych of abstract images.

You can see what K’lee has created by clicking the link HERE, but now let’s see what you’ve come up with.

Cosmic Photo prompt…

Today’s theme for the next edition of K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Photo Challenge is chosen by K’lee and his prompt for Monday’s post is as follows; The Power in Threes.

A trio, a trilogy, a triptych or a triangle; all worthy subjects to consider for the challenge, which is here in just three days, so get snapping.
